MyButler is an Italian start-up that provides digital solutions specifically designed for the restaurant industry.

For restaurant owners, MyButler guarantees a secure and reliable system that covers every step of the process, from order placement to payment. From the customer’s perspective, digital ordering is enabled via a simple code, creating a smooth and intuitive experience, while the staff can review and approve orders before they reach the kitchen, ensuring accuracy and a human touch where it matters.

Developing a fully integrated, multi-channel digital ecosystem required the creation of a comprehensive framework capable of supporting every stage of the project lifecycle. This included extensive research and user analysis, strategic concept development, careful design of service interactions, and the end-to-end implementation of the entire digital ecosystem. The project was executed under a highly constrained timeframe, which directly influenced planning, activity prioritization, and the precise allocation of resources across all teams, requiring a coordinated and focused effort to bring the vision to life.

Goal: simplify the management of a restaurant through a digital eco-system

We developed a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) tested directly with restaurateurs, structured around three primary touchpoints: a customer-facing application, a staff application, and a manager dashboard. 

The process began with a structured workshop, during which we defined use cases, user flows, and the overall system architecture. We then designed master templates and leveraged a scalable design system, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints and accelerating the subsequent development phases.

The final platform enables seamless digital ordering and order management, offering restaurant owners full control over their dining areas while providing kitchen staff with a real-time display system to efficiently process orders. Beyond operational efficiency, MyButler integrates analytics to give restaurants insight into business performance and tools for staff management, while allowing complete customization of the software both in terms of functionality and visual identity.

Our main goal was not to replace the waiter, but to help him manage mechanical tasks more efficiently, allowing him to focus more on his service and human touch. Therefore, the solution emphasizes personalized and reliable service, aiming to make every guest feel like a special visitor. The predominant use of black and white, along with high-contrast elements inspired by traditional butler uniforms, reinforces clarity, order, and sophistication. A palette of subtle secondary colors further supports usability and enhances comprehension for both customers and restaurateurs.
